Mount Baldy Moving Dune Tee
Mount Baldy is the big bare dune at the east end of Indiana Dunes National Park, about 120 feet of sand that is still moving. Wind off Lake Michigan pushes it inland a few feet every year, and it buries the woods behind it as it goes, which is why the park calls it a living dune. The summit has been closed to the public since 2013. These days the only way to the top is a ranger-led walk.
On the shirt: the dune drawn by hand in cross-section across the back, the lake side cut off by the edge of the print, the old crest left as a dashed line behind the new one. A small version of the dune line sits on the left chest, and the dune-grass mark is printed on the right sleeve.
