Trout Division Trail Creek Long Sleeve

Most steelhead run in the cold months. Indiana stocks a summer-run strain called Skamania in Trail Creek, the East Branch of the Little Calumet and the St. Joseph, and those fish start nosing into the creeks in late June, while everyone else is at the beach. Trail Creek in Michigan City is the one everybody knows. You wade in shorts and still need the net.

On the shirt: a steelhead drawn across the front like an old engraving, low and on a diagonal, with one orange line down its side. Trail, Salt and Little Cal run down the left forearm in typewriter type, a fin-tag reading TC-84 sits above the right cuff, and one quiet line sits at the back hem. Nothing else on the back.

Garment dyeing means slight color variation from shirt to shirt. Machine wash cold, tumble dry low.
